This one took a while

I've been a very patient girl & now my patience is rewarded. I've finally finished all the SB JCS ornaments into a wallhanging! The last one was stitched ages ago when the mag first came out but I've been agonising over the fabric for the wallhanging. I originally had them 2 x 4 with purple sashing. However, it wasn't straight & annoyed me highly but also I couldn't work out what to put with the purple fabric! So I decided it would be easier/better to use just one fabric that blended with all the pieces. This is it! It's a Jinny Beyer fabric. My DD helped pick it out and I have to say, I'm very happy with it.

Sorry I can't get a bigger pic....it's very hard to photograph something that is more than 2' long!

A closeup so you can see the silver metallic thread I used for the quilting.
